Tracey Allen
I’m a co-founder of a multi-disciplinary (architecture & design) studio in Tasmania. I am a highly motivated and innovative visual thinker. As a designer, business owner and academic I have worked in both the public, commercial and the third sectors for 20 years. My successes have been recognised as a finalist in the Telstra Business Woman’s Award in 2014 and the many design awards I have received. Being proactive and passionate about how design can have a positive impact on people and services has awarded me with a Vitra Design/Arts Tasmania Residency and Claudio Alcorso International Fellowship. I have presented at conferences, seminars and during 2001-2005 I developed a 3year graphic design degree course at the University of Tasmania. Previously an active member on a range of committees including on the national board of the Australian Graphic Design Association and currently as a peer reviewer on the Tasmanian Arts Advisory Board.
