Dominic Hofstede has worked as a graphic designer for over 20 years, the past 14 as head of Hofstede Design. The studio has a focus on print-based work, primarily in the area of publication design. Its creative output is characterised by thoughtful design and an appreciation for typographic craft.\r\nDominic fervently advocates the documentation and celebration of our industry’s brief history. In 2009 he established recollection.com.au, an archive of Australian graphic design and in 2010 he curated an exhibition highlighting Les Mason’s period as art director of Epicurean magazine. \r\nHis commitment to fostering young designers has manifested in mentoring, lecturing and teaching roles undertaken with numerous local educational institutions.
