Guillaume’s business sense was honed while completing studies in Marketing and Management and selling ice creams on the beaches of Southern France. His career began with Havas Advertising London, and then Parisian boutique agency L’Agence Verte. During this time he worked on a variety of accounts ranging from fashion to social causes, the launch of Laboratoire Garnier’s Fructis range and a political campaign for the Green Party. Relocating to Australia in 1998 he landed a job as Senior Designer with Lonely Planet, and eventually Melbourne advertising agency Pure Creative (later D’ARCY) where, as Senior Art Director, he created campaigns and directed branding projects for such clients as Twix, Sensis, Phillips, Mars and ME Bank. In 2003, together with David Whiteside and Peter Milne, Guillaume started multidisciplinary creative agency Sense. Twelve years later Sense employs 30 people and produces advertising, branding and digital work that is always anchored with strong strategy.
