How to make Word and PowerPoint painfree

How to get the best from Word and PowerPoint (yes it's possible)

Hopefully you managed a break over the Christmas period and got some time away from a screen.

We've written a short piece here about how to get the best results for your clients when it comes to designing and building Word or PowerPoint templates (or G-Suite, Excel, Keynote or even Publisher).

In a nutshell, here's how to get the best results in your next template project:

  • Get us to give your designs a quick review before final approval. We don't charge for this and it's a great way to check if there's any elements that won't work in Microsoft/Google/on a PC or that will make the templates hard to use for your clients
  • Find someone who'll be happy to test the templates at the client end, who understands how they should work and most importantly, why they are so important for the overall brand identity
  • If you're comfortable letting us liaise with your client, let us answer any questions directly or deal with issues that crop up. Save your time for work you love!

After the job has been quoted and approved (we can do this from a PDF), our process to ensure we build templates that look great and function perfectly is to take your packaged artwork, build out a first draft for testing and review, and then finalise after the client has had a chance to use it.
